Anorthosis: Message for the Anniversary of the Turkish Invasion

Anorthosis Famagusta has released a statement on the 51st anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus. In the statement, the team expresses "pain, rage, anger, but also an unquenchable desire to return" to the occupied territories.

The statement refers to August 14, the day the second phase of the invasion began, and the slogan "Ayşe can go on vacation" which was used as a code to start operations.
