Famagusta Municipality Anti-Occupation Event with March and Resolution

The Municipality of Famagusta is holding its annual anti-occupation event today, Saturday, August 2, 2025. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the outdoor area of the Famagusta Cultural Center in Deryneia.

At 7 p.m., a march will take place from the Cultural Center to the Deryneia roadblock, where a resolution will be delivered. The event will be policed by the Famagusta Police Department and MMAD to ensure peaceful proceedings and smooth traffic flow.

Participants are requested to comply with police instructions.
