Scam Alert: Fake Emails Claiming Unpaid Electricity Bills

The messages, titled 'Urgent Warning Unpaid Electricity Bill', urge recipients to follow a link to pay their bill.

The EAC clarifies that these messages do not originate from them and constitute an attempted phishing scam. The public is urged to exercise special caution with messages containing links or attachments.
