Strike at Larnaca Public Transport Starting Tomorrow

The unions OMEPEGE-SEK, SEGDAMELIN-PEO, and DEE EMPORIKON DEOK have announced strike measures at Larnaca Public Transport (LPT) starting tomorrow, July 30, due to non-implementation of agreements.
According to the announcement, the violation concerns the agreed working hours of 38 hours per week. They gave a deadline until the evening of Tuesday, July 29, for compliance. In case of non-compliance, the employees will proceed with a 48-hour strike.
The unions call on Larnaca Public Transport Services and Operations Ltd to respect the Collective Agreement and ask for the public's understanding for any inconvenience.
