AKTOR's Appeal Rejected for Paphos-Polis Chrysochous Road

The Tender Review Authority has rejected the appeal of AKTOR company regarding the re-tender for the completion of the study and construction of the first phase of the Paphos-Polis Chrysochous road. The decision was issued on November 19, lifting the temporary suspension of the award process.
According to the Legal Service, the Authority rejected all eleven reasons for annulment that were raised. The Department of Public Works had announced the tender on August 8, 2025, due to the termination of the contract with INTRAKART (later AKTOR). AKTOR filed an appeal on August 18, 2025, requesting the cancellation of the re-tender.
Rena Papaeti Hatzikosta, Kyriaki Papadopoulou, and Maria Kelepesii handled the case on behalf of the Attorney General. The Ministry of Transport announced that the temporary suspension is no longer valid and the tender documents are available in the e-procurement system.
