Students Boycott Classes at Polis Chrysochous High School Due to Air Conditioning Issues

Students at Polis Chrysochous High School boycotted their classes during the 4th period today, Friday, protesting against the unfavorable learning conditions due to non-functional air conditioning. The students complain that the heat is unbearable and hinders their concentration.

According to the students, some of the fans that were used in the past have broken down and have not been replaced. The students gathered near a school gate, holding banners and placards with slogans such as "Lesson in an oven, no thank you" and expressing their disappointment with the state's indifference.

A patrol car was present at the scene for the safety of the students. The students are calling on the Ministry of Education to be sensitive and improve teaching conditions.
