Unstable Weather in Cyprus: Rain, Storms, and Strong Winds

Low pressure is affecting Cyprus, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Today, the weather will be mainly cloudy with local rain and storms. Sleet or snow may fall on the highest peaks of Troodos. Sparse dust in the atmosphere will subside by noon.
The winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, and locally on the windward side up to very strong, 6 Beaufort. The sea will be up to rough and in the afternoon locally up to wavy. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland, in the west, southwest and north coasts, around 21 in the southeast and east coasts and 10 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, locally increased cloud cover is expected to bring isolated rain, mainly in the west and north. The winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and on the coasts up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough. The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees inland and on the coasts and 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where local frost is expected to form.
On Monday and Tuesday, there will be periods of locally increased cloud cover, which may bring isolated showers. On Wednesday, the weather will be mainly cloudy with local rain and storms.
