Increased Traffic at Cyprus Airports During Holiday Season

Increased traffic is observed at Larnaca and Paphos airports during the holiday season. On Friday, December 26th, Larnaca airport had 65 arrivals and 38 departures scheduled, while Paphos airport had 14 arrivals and 13 departures.

Passenger traffic at both airports was up throughout 2025. Between January and November 2025, 9,365,329 passengers passed through Larnaca airport and 3,640,954 through Paphos airport. For the entire year 2024, the traffic was 8,661,354 and 3,633,990 respectively.

Due to the increased traffic, parking at Larnaca airport is operating with limited availability. The managing company, Hermes Airports, urges the public to pre-book parking spaces online.

This year, 500 new parking spaces were added, bringing the total to 3,500.
