Work Stoppage at Atlantica Hotels in Limassol

A spontaneous work stoppage took place this morning at three Atlantica Group hotels in Limassol: Atlantica Miramare, Atlantica Oasis, and Atlantica Bay.

According to an announcement by SEK, the workers are demanding full implementation of their Collective Agreement and the safeguarding of all their rights.

SEK states that despite repeated contacts with the company, there has been no progress, leading the employees to react spontaneously. SEK denounces violations of the collective agreement and intimidation tactics, as well as obstruction of trade union action.

Relevant complaints have already been filed with the Department of Labour Relations.
