Back to School: Student Basket Costs from €22 to €362

As the new school year begins, the cost of school supplies ranges from €22 to €362, according to a survey by the Cyprus Consumers Association. The survey reveals a wide range of prices, allowing parents to choose according to their budget.

Akis Christou, head of Soloneiou Bookstore, stated that prices remain at the same levels as last year. The cost depends on each parent's choices.

• Pencil case: €0.59-€44.95
• Pencils, Pens, Markers, etc.: €0.35-€14.99
• Notebooks: €0.32-€12.99
• School T-shirts and shirts: €3.99-€48.00

The Consumers Association recommends market research before purchases, to compare prices and check quality.
