Weather Forecast: Dust and Possible Showers in Cyprus

A weak low-pressure system is affecting Cyprus. In the afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated showers, mainly in the mountains, the north, and inland areas. Thin dust may be present in the atmosphere until evening.
Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate, force 4, and occasionally up to strong, force 5, on windward coasts. The sea will be slightly rough to rough.
Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy with a chance of isolated showers, mainly in the west and north. Winds will be mainly westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, force 3 to 4. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 7 degrees inland, 13 on the west coast, around 11 on the remaining coasts, and 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where local frost may form.
Tomorrow, local rain or isolated thunderstorms are expected at times, initially in the west and mountains, and later in the south, east, and inland. Snow or sleet is possible on the highest peaks of Troodos. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland and on the coasts and 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Monday, increased cloud cover, mainly in the west and north, is likely to bring isolated showers. Gradually, the weather will become mainly cloudy with local rain and isolated thunderstorms. Snow or sleet is possible on the peaks of Troodos.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated showers. The temperature on Monday will remain at Sunday's levels, while a slight increase is expected from Tuesday.
