Weather Update: Unstable Air Mass and Localized Showers

A seasonal low pressure system is affecting the region of Cyprus. Today, the weather will initially be mainly clear, with increased cloud cover in the west. Gradually, it will become locally cloudy with isolated showers, mainly in the mountains. The winds will be light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, with temporary strengthening on the southern coasts.

The temperature will rise to 35 degrees Celsius inland, 31 on the coasts, and 26 in the higher mountains. Tonight, locally increased cloud cover will be observed in the west, while in the other areas the weather will be mainly clear. On Monday, isolated showers or thunderstorms are expected in the mountains and inland. On Tuesday and Wednesday, local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the mountains.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly until Wednesday.
