Cyprus Weather Update: Rain, Storms, and Temperature Drop

Low pressure and a relatively cold air mass are affecting the Cyprus region. In the afternoon, local rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the west, north, and mountainous areas. Sleet or snow will fall in the higher mountainous areas.
The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, locally strong. The sea will be up to rough, and wavy in the west and north.
Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy with isolated rain and possible thunderstorms, mainly in the west and north. Sleet or snow is expected in the mountains. The winds will blow westerly to northwesterly, moderate to strong. The sea will be rough to wavy.
The temperature will drop to 6 degrees Celsius inland, 10 degrees Celsius on the west and north coasts, 8 degrees Celsius on the other coasts, and 0 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains, where frost will form.
Tomorrow, isolated rain or a brief thunderstorm is expected, initially in the west and north, later in the north, inland, and in the mountains. The winds will blow northwesterly, moderate to strong. The sea will be up to rough in the south and east, and up to very wavy on the other coasts.
On Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be mainly clear. On Friday a slight rain is possible in the mountains. The temperature will gradually rise until Friday.
