SKIP Owners Protest in Nicosia with 57 Trucks

SKIP owners are protesting in the Nicosia district, with the participation of 57 trucks.

According to the Police, the vehicles are following the route from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Presidential Palace and the Department of Environment.

The protest is related to the suspension of operation of an illegal C&D waste management unit (Construction and Demolition Waste), following a decision by the competent authorities.

The Police are calling on the public to follow the instructions of traffic officers due to possible delays.
