A protest with the slogan "Stop the genocide in Palestine" was held in Larnaca by the group "*FREE FREE PALESTINE*". Protesters gathered at Foinikoudes, holding Palestinian flags and placards.

The gathering started at Europe Square and was followed by a march along Athinon Avenue, ending at the Church of Saint Lazarus.

A strong police presence was noted in the area, with the aim of ensuring the smooth running of the protest and regulating traffic.

Police reminded that, according to the Public Gatherings and Parades Law 151(I) of 2025, the organizer must ensure the peaceful conduct of the event and comply with the instructions of the authorities. The Police have the right to impose restrictions or even dissolve the gathering if it is not peaceful or there is a risk of causing damage.
