Larnaca Protest: Police Security Measures in Place

A protest is scheduled for Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Larnaca, organized by the group «FREE FREE PALESTINE».

The event will begin at 7:00 PM at Europe Square, on Athinon Avenue. A procession towards the Church of Saint Lazarus will follow. Police will take measures to ensure the peaceful conduct of the event and smooth traffic flow.

Police urge participants to comply with police instructions. The organizer must ensure the smooth conduct of the event, according to the Public Gatherings and Processions Law 151(I) of 2025.

The police have the authority to impose restrictions or even dissolve the gathering if it is not peaceful or if there is a risk of bodily harm or damage.
