Concerns over Driver's Test Delays in Paphos

Paphos MPs have taken steps with the Department of Road Transport regarding delays in new driver's tests. AKEL MP, Valentinos Fakontis, and DIKO MP, Chrysanthos Savvidis, expressed concerns about delays reaching several months.

The MPs stressed that the prolonged waiting period leads many young people to drive without a license, increasing road safety risks. They also stated that approximately 50% of applicants are foreign nationals, highlighting the need for better coordination and more effective scheduling of exams.
