Kassandra Municipality: Removal of Illegal Structures from Beaches

Crews from the Kassandra Municipality, with the assistance of the police, carried out an operation to remove permanent structures (umbrellas, sunbeds, equipment) from beaches between Polychrono, Hanioti, and Pefkochori.

The municipality had previously conducted inspections and found violations regarding permanent structures in public spaces. The confiscated equipment will not be returned.

Inspections will continue in other areas where beach occupations are recorded. The Municipality calls on those who have illegally occupied the shore to immediately remove the facilities to avoid administrative and criminal consequences.
