The Coca-Cola HBC Foundation has announced a donation of €1 million for the regeneration of fire-affected areas in Limassol. The donation will be allocated to the MountMed Institute for Research and Development of Mediterranean Island Mountain Areas for the implementation of the "Integrated Program for the Regeneration of Fire-Affected Areas of the Troodos Mountain Villages."

The announcement was made on November 17, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Cyprus and other officials. The program is being implemented within the framework of the initiative of the Anastasios G. Leventis Foundation, which has already allocated €200,000 for the study of the fire's impact.

Svetoslav Atanasov, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC for Greece and Cyprus, stated that the donation strengthens a holistic initiative for the reconstruction of the Troodos mountain villages communities.

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, welcomed the offer and thanked all contributors.

The regeneration program adopts a holistic agroecological approach and includes the restoration of ecosystems, the strengthening of the primary sector, and the development of educational programs. The program implementation will last three years (2026-2028).
