Portugal Donates €15,000 to CMP

The Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus (CMP) received a donation of €15,000 from the Portuguese Republic on Monday.

According to a CMP press release, Portugal's total financial assistance to the CMP amounts to €30,000 since 2018. The donation will support the effort to identify and return the remains of missing persons.

To date, the remains of 1,055 missing persons from both communities in Cyprus have been identified and returned to their families.
