Kapodistrian University Inaugurates Branch in Cyprus

The inauguration of the branch of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Cyprus took place today. The oldest and largest university in Greece is thus beginning its international expansion.

The inauguration was performed by the President of the Republic, who spoke of a historic day for Cyprus and Hellenism. Nikos Christodoulides emphasized the importance of establishing a branch of the historic university for higher education in Cyprus.

The branch, in its initial phase, includes 4 schools and 8 departments in the cities of Nicosia and Larnaca.
