Homes Evacuated in Omodos Due to Fires in Arsos and Koilani

Two major fire fronts are raging in Arsos and Koilani, with firefighters working tirelessly. According to the Community Leader of Omodos, Evgenios Michael, six homes were evacuated as a precaution in Omodos. Earlier, the northern part of Koilani was evacuated.

Fire Service Spokesman Andreas Kettis stated that active fronts are located in Arodes, Arsos, Koilani, Kouris Dam, Kivides, and Mandria.
