Rolling Blackouts Begin Across Cyprus
Rolling blackouts have begun in various regions of Cyprus from 6:25 PM due to increased energy demand resulting from high temperatures.
According to Cyprus Times, the blackouts will be implemented on a rotational basis and will last up to 30 minutes.
The TSO (Transmission System Operator of Cyprus) urges consumers to conserve electricity and assures that the safe operation of the electrical system is a priority.
