Reports on Limassol Fire Submitted to President

Reports from four services regarding the response to the devastating fire in the villages of mountainous Limassol are being submitted to the President of the Republic today.
These are the reports from the Fire Department, the Police, the Department of Forests, and Civil Defense, which have already been received by the political heads of the services.
Meanwhile, the payment of the lump sum to cover the basic needs of those affected by the fire began yesterday. The goal, according to the Minister of Interior, is to pay the amounts to all beneficiaries within the next week.
In order to better inform citizens about the measures decided by the Council of Ministers, open gatherings are being organized in the affected communities. Today, gatherings will be held in Kividhes and Agios Amvrosios, and tomorrow in Vouni.
