Cyprus: Registration Opens for Gymnasia and Lyceums (2026-2027)

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (ΥΠΑΝ) announces the dates for pre-registrations and transfers for students entering the 1st grade of public Gymnasia, Lyceums, and Technical Schools for the school year 2026-2027.

Pre-registrations:

• Gymnasia: February 05 – 15, 2026
• Lyceums/TESEK: February 16 – 27, 2026

Transfers (outside educational district):

• Gymnasia: March 02 – 13, 2026
• Lyceums and TESEK: March 16 – 31, 2026

Electronic pre-registration is mandatory. Registration finalization will take place at the end of June 2026.

Parents/guardians must create a CY Login account and a profile on eΔΕΑ. This process is done only once. No application is required for 2nd and 3rd grade students.
