Renovation Works Begin in Pallouriotissa, Nicosia

The Municipality of Nicosia announces the commencement of construction works for the project «Appropriate Construction of Various Roads in Nicosia – Contract 30 – Pallouriotissa», which concerns the renovation of Falirou, Vasileos Pavlou, Apostolou Varna, Atalantis, Iasiou, Meropis, Ag. Ambrosiou streets.

The works, starting on September 1, 2025, include flood protection works, sidewalk construction, road reconstruction, new traffic regulations, improved road signage, parking space configuration, and infrastructure upgrades.

Vasileos Pavlou and Apostolou Varna streets will remain closed for three months. The project is funded by the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan, with funds from the EU Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (NextGenerationEU).

The Municipality of Nicosia requests the understanding of citizens for the temporary inconvenience.
