Possible Rain in Cyprus Mountains from Thursday

An unstable air mass is temporarily affecting Cyprus, with a cold air mass expected from Thursday. Today, the weather will be mainly clear, but in the afternoon there may be local showers, mainly in the mountains.

The winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and the sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will reach 19 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and 9 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

On Wednesday, the weather will be intermittently cloudy with local rain, mainly in the western half of the island. On Thursday and Friday, increased cloud cover may cause isolated showers, mainly in the mountains and inland. There is a possibility of snow or sleet on the highest peaks of Troodos.

The temperature on Thursday will drop significantly, remaining below the average climatological values.
