Tension in Souda: Protesters Attack Buses Carrying Israeli Tourists

Protesters threw paint at buses carrying Israeli tourists in Souda, Crete. The incident occurred upon the arrival of the cruise ship Crown Iris.
The protesters, consisting of members of leftist organizations, gathered at the port of Souda to protest the arrival of the cruise ship. Police forces were deployed at the entrance of the port to prevent the protesters from entering. As the buses were leaving, the protesters threw paint at the vehicles, resulting in the intervention of riot police who used stun grenades to repel them.
