Severe Weather: Fallen Trees and Power Outages in Cyprus

Severe weather is affecting Cyprus, with strong winds causing problems and damage. The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for winds up to 10 Beaufort.

The Fire Service has responded to four incidents. Two fallen trees were reported in Poli Chrysochous, in the Paphos district, and two in the Larnaca district, where a tree fell and a dangerous structure was moved.

Additionally, strong winds have caused power outages in various provinces, affecting the EAC network.
