Spectacular August Full Moon Shines Over Cyprus

The spectacular August full moon, also known as the "Sturgeon Moon," appeared in the sky over Cyprus on August 9th, offering a magical spectacle.
Citizens across Cyprus captured the full moon, with photos being posted on social media, specifically in the groups "Καιρόφιλοι Κύπρου" and "Στο Νησί / On the island."
Illustrative are the photos from Arsos Lemesou (Eirini Nikolaou), Troodos (Andreas Konstantinidis), Ayia Napa (Pieris IX) and Governos beach (Maria Irakleous).
The name "Sturgeon Moon" comes from the traditions of Native Americans, who associated August with the appearance of the sturgeon fish.
