Cyprus Forestry College Reopens with 20 Trainees

The Minister of Agriculture, Maria Panagiotou, welcomed the reopening of the Cyprus Forestry College in the Prodromos community, with 20 trainees.

Mrs. Panagiotou emphasized that the reopening of the College, after almost 10 years, is a strategic choice to staff the Department of Forests with specialized professionals.

Giorgos Boustros, Advisor to the President of the Republic, stated that investing in knowledge is the best shield against natural disasters.

The College is reopening after a suspension of almost 10 years.
