EAC Smart Meter Installation Expanding to New Areas in October

The EAC (Electricity Authority of Cyprus) has announced the continuation of the mass installation of smart meters in various regions of Cyprus. From 06/10/2025, the installations will expand to:

• Nicosia: Lakatamia, Strovolos (between Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, Tseriou Avenue, Hippocrates Street, Melina Mercouri Street, Agiou Georgiou Street up to the Pedieos river).
• Limassol: Areas north of Limassol port (between Kathetos Limaniou Street and Voukourestiou Street up to the Industrial Area, and on both sides of Voukourestiou Street).
• Larnaca: Area between Griva Digeni Avenue, Thessaloniki Avenue, Faneromenis Avenue, Kalymnou Street, and Nikou & Despoinas Pattichi Street.
• Famagusta District (Paralimni): Both sides of 1st April Avenue, Nikou Psara Street, Agiou Thoma Street, Kappari Avenue, Agia Triada area – both sides of Vrysoudion Street.
• Paphos: Both sides of Tombs of the Kings Avenue (Kings Avenue Mall), Agion Anargyron Avenue (between Evropis Avenue, Poseidonos Avenue, Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, and Anapafseos Street, Ptolemaidas Street, Sotiri Markidi Street, and Giannou Kranidioti Street).

The EAC informs that the power outage for meter replacement lasts approximately 20 minutes.
