Archbishop and Ministers Visit Frigate "Kimon" in Limassol

Archbishop of Cyprus Georgios, Minister of Justice Kostas Fytiris, and Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hatzimanoli visited the frigate "Kimon" in the port of Limassol on Wednesday.

Archbishop Georgios performed a blessing ceremony and was briefed on the ship's equipment by the Commander, Lieutenant Commander Ioannis Kizanis.

The Archbishop expressed his emotion for the arrival of the frigate and thanked the Greek Government for its solidarity.

Kostas Fytiris stated that the frigate bears a name of historical significance and expressed his gratitude to the Greek Government and the crews of the Navy.

Marina Hatzimanoli expressed her respect to the crew and acknowledged their work and mission.
