Jet Ski Operator Rescued in Mazotos, Larnaca

On August 17, 2025, at 13:40, the JRCC activated the National Search and Rescue Plan "NEARCHOS" following a report of a missing jet ski operator in the sea area of Mazotos, Larnaca district.

The operation involved vessels from the Port and Maritime Police, a helicopter from the Police Air Operations Unit, and a foot patrol from the Kiti Police Station.

The missing person was located and rescued by a vessel of the Port and Maritime Police at 14:25 and safely transported to shore.
