Jetski Operator Rescued in Larnaca

A rescue operation took place in Larnaca today to locate a missing jetski operator. According to a statement from the Joint Rescue Coordination Center, the National Search and Rescue Plan "NEARCHOS" was activated at 13:40 following a report of a missing operator in the Mazotos area.

The operation involved vessels from the Port and Maritime Police, a helicopter from the Police Air Operations Unit, and a foot patrol from the Kiti Police Station. The missing person was located and rescued by a Port Police vessel at 14:25 and safely transported to shore.
