Large-Scale Police Operation in Larnaca

Police, in cooperation with local authorities and other services, conducted a large-scale operation in Larnaca today to ensure public order and legality.

The operation started at 9:00 AM and ended at 2:00 PM. 13 premises were inspected, resulting in complaints for operating without a license, selling alcohol without a license, not using an electronic cash register, and undeclared work. In addition, recommendations/observations were given by various services and an administrative fine was imposed by the Municipality of Larnaca.

42 individuals were checked, resulting in one arrest for illegal employment and one for illegal stay in the Republic. During traffic checks, there were 18 complaints for traffic violations and one vehicle detention.
