Redevelopment Works to Begin in Geroskipou on July 1, 2025

The Municipality of Geroskipou has announced the start of construction works for the redevelopment project of the town's traditional center, starting on July 1, 2025. The project, undertaken by MILTIADES NEOPHYTOU C.E.C. & D., will begin in section D, which includes Archbishop Kyprianou, Spartis, and Kanaris streets.

The works include demolitions, earthworks, construction of a stormwater drainage network, installation of utility networks (EAC and CYTA), street lighting, and paving. These streets will be closed to traffic for three months, until the end of September 2025.

Additionally, there will be partial traffic disruptions on Thermopylon, Marathonos, Kouriou, and Michalaki Karaoli streets for paving works. The parking area on Kyprianou street, south of the Adult Education Center, will remain closed.

The Municipality assures that pedestrian and resident access to homes and businesses, as well as the parking area on Spartis street, will be ensured. Further updates will follow for the next phases of the project.
