Projects at 28 schools in Cyprus - €147.5 million in expenses

The Ministry of Education has announced the implementation of projects at 28 schools, with total expenses amounting to €147.5 million. Some projects will be completed before the start of the school year, while others will continue during it.
According to a statement by the Technical Services Directorate, 17 large-scale projects (constructions, expansions, seismic and energy upgrades) with a total cost of €25,314,287.89 will have been completed before the 2025-2026 school year or will be implemented very soon.
In addition, 11 large-scale projects, with a total cost of over €122.2 million, will continue during the 2025-2026 school year.
The Minister of Education, Athina Michaelidou, emphasized the importance of school infrastructure for the quality of education, as well as the continuous efforts to improve school buildings and infrastructure.
