ETEK is expected to deliver the damage assessments and restoration amounts for properties affected by the fires in mountainous Limassol before mid-August, according to the President of the Chamber, Konstantinos Konstantis.

Mr. Konstantis stated that the preparation of the methodology has been completed and 15 teams have been trained, each consisting of an architect/civil engineer and a surveyor. The teams are examining approximately 700 cases, with a review for uniformity. The results will be sent to the Ministry next week.

Assessments for partially damaged properties have been completed, while ETEK is working on assessing those completely burned. The aim is to provide the Ministry of Interior with assessments that do not require additional information before mid-August.

The records concern approximately 700 properties, including primary residences, holiday homes, commercial properties, listed and traditional buildings. Mr. Konstantis praised the voluntary contribution of the engineers.

Upon completion of the work, ETEK's involvement in the process ceases, although the Chamber will be available to the Ministry of Interior for clarifications.
