ETEK is expected to deliver the initial damage assessment data for fire-stricken areas on Monday or Tuesday, according to statements by the President of the Chamber, Konstantinos Konstanti, to the Cyprus News Agency (CYPE).

ETEK's role is to assess the cost of restoring properties to their previous condition. Unit prices are being prepared for each task, depending on the case (total destruction, building age, type of construction).

For some cases, the forms prepared by the District Officer's teams are used, while others require additional information. Case studies will be conducted to evaluate the methodology based on international standards.

Priority will be given to primary residences that have been partially damaged, followed by completely destroyed primary residences, and then the rest (commercial premises, holiday homes).

Konstanti reiterated that the effort is to provide the first results even on Monday night, and the goal is to complete the process within the next ten days for priority cases.
