Five Inmates from Avlona Prison Become University Students

Five young inmates from the Avlona Special Youth Detention Center (ESKNA) have been accepted into universities, marking a success for the institution's educational program.
Petros Damianos, who founded the school at Avlona prison, expressed his joy at the students' achievement. Anastasia Peppa, Director of Education and Training Structures at ESKNA, stated that the students managed to overcome difficulties and adverse conditions to realize their dreams.
One more student will attend the Hellenic Open University with a scholarship.
