Fire Between Tsada and Koili: 2 sq km Destroyed

The fire that broke out in the area of the communities of Tsada and Koili, in the Paphos district, burned two square kilometers.

As stated to CNA by the Director of the Department of Forests, Savas Iezekiil, the worst was avoided thanks to cooperation with the Fire Service.

Mr. Iezekiil mentioned that the fire burned wild vegetation with thorny bushes. At the same time, a fire broke out in Pomos, but it was immediately extinguished.
