Fire Destroys Abandoned Cars in Aradippou: Investigation Underway

An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire that destroyed six abandoned cars in Aradippou. The fire broke out at noon in an area belonging to the Municipality of Aradippou, causing extensive damage to the vehicles.
According to the Larnaca Police Directorate, the scene was examined by the TAE Larnaca, the Fire Department, and other competent services. Investigations so far do not indicate malicious intent.
The cars were immobilized and in unusable condition, placed in a special fenced area of the Municipality of Aradippou. The failure to clear dry weeds in the area contributed to the spread of the fire.
The Larnaca and Athienou Fire Stations responded with three vehicles, and two vehicles from the Department of Forests assisted. The fire was brought under control approximately 20 minutes after it started. The Aradippou Police Station is investigating the causes.
