Fire at Nicosia Property: Extensive Damage

A fire broke out at a property in the Nicosia district, causing extensive damage. According to the Fire Service, the fire started at a 6x6 meter property in Psimolofou.

The fire was brought under control at 18:20, following the intervention of three fire trucks from the Nicosia Fire Stations, with the support of a vehicle from the Department of Forests.

The fire caused extensive damage to the property and its contents, as well as to a room inside the property. The fire also spread to dry grass and wild vegetation around the perimeter. A container in a nearby field was also affected.

The causes of the fire will be investigated in cooperation with the competent authorities.
