Israeli Cruise Ship Docks in Limassol After Protests in Syros

The Israeli cruise ship “Crown Iris” docked in Limassol on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 23, after being unable to disembark passengers in Syros due to protests. Passengers disembarked without problems.
A pro-Palestine protest took place at the old port of Limassol, causing tension with some Israeli citizens. Police were present to monitor the situation.
The “Crown Iris”, managed by Mano Maritime, carries approximately 1,600 passengers. Cypriot authorities made no official statements.
