Strong Winds Damage Boats in Limassol

Strong winds caused problems for boats in the Limassol province, specifically in the Pentakomo area, where work is underway for the construction of a fishing shelter by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research (TAΘΕ).

Two boats were swept away due to the rough seas. One ended up on the breakwaters of the Naval Base in Mari, while the second ran aground on a shoal within the sea area.

Competent authorities and crews rushed to the scene to remove the boats and restore the situation. Additionally, another boat ended up in the Governor's Beach area due to the strong winds.
