The Pancyprian Organisation of the Blind has denounced the unsuitability of the transport provided for blind trainees from Free Famagusta to the School for the Blind in Nicosia. According to the complaint, a trainee was injured during transport and required medical attention.

The organisation reports that the problem has persisted for over a year, with trainees complaining about the limited space, problematic slipping, and lack of suspension in the vehicle. There are also complaints about the driver's behaviour.

Despite representations to the School for the Blind and the Ministry of Education, the situation has not improved. The trainees have decided to suspend their participation in the School for the Blind program, refusing to use the specific bus.

The Pancyprian Organisation of the Blind calls on the Ministry of Education to act to safeguard the rights of the blind and end the 'provocative indifference' it is demonstrating.
