Kitas Complaint: 'I told a soldier people will burn - He replied 'I don't give a damn''

Erik Kitas testified about the deadly fire in Limassol on Channel 6. He stated that the fire department asked him for help.
'I informed the Fire Department that I prefer to go and operate not because it is the community of our member, but because he knows the community.' He also added that they operated in Potamiou for about three hours.
'As soon as I saw the front entering Souni, we turned back to go and inform the Police who were controlling the traffic, that the front had entered Souni and the passage of vehicles should be changed. When I informed the police officer, he told me that the instructions I have are specific, I cannot do anything'.
Then, according to Mr. Kitas, he saw a soldier and told him 'friend, the cars are going towards the front. People will burn.' As he alleges, the soldier replied 'I don't give a damn if people will burn'.
