Allegations of Firefighting Vehicles Used for Other Tasks

Serious allegations are being made by deputy mayors of the municipalities of Akamas and Polis Chrysochous regarding the use of firefighting vehicles.

According to RIK, the double-cabin vehicles, equipped with firefighting equipment such as water tanks, hoses, and pressure machines, are now being used for other tasks by the municipalities.

The deputy mayors also allege that the firefighting equipment, which was 50% subsidized by the provincial administration, has been removed from the vehicles.
