Building Collapses in Old Nicosia – Search for Trapped Individuals

Part of a building collapsed in Old Nicosia on Sunday afternoon (08/03/2026), prompting a response from EMAK. EMAK members with a specially trained dog immediately rushed to the scene to investigate the possibility of trapped individuals.

According to OMEGAlive, there were no people in the building during the collapse, and no injuries were reported. The search was completed without finding anyone trapped.
